Its about a two miles walk to the bowling place from base so Altin and I got to have a fairly in depth conversation about Muslims. I think he is still on the fence with the whole thing. Understandably so because part of what I gathered is that to accept the Jesus Christ is to accept the word of God right? But the Koran offers many more "details" and specifics that the bible "does not" so for him it would be like accepting lesser information that he already has. Our conversation that night has really stirred something in me that burns to know the mind of Muslims, the heart, the facts, the lies and the doctrine behind this religion and its people. I'm so thankful knowing that Britt has endless resources that I can tap into and begin my journey studying.

Its funny you guys, school was never "my thing" learning and studying and test taking was so stressful and enjoyable for the most part for me. But here, discovering all there is to know about people, different religions, the word of God, prayer, the nations, God's love and all there is to discover (which takes an eternity to scratch the surface of), has caused me to discover that I AM A LEARNER! In fact, did you know disciple actually means learner or student. And because I am a disciple of Jesus (rabbi, he is my teacher) I actually LOVE learning and being tested by him! When you read your bible, have you ever looked at it this way... that it is the only book in the world whose author is present with you every time you read it!? You can ask questions and He always has time to give you an answer if you will ask, be willing to wait and listen. The best part is, you don't have to try and weed through if he knows what he's talking about, or giving you some lame answer because even if you don't understand what he is saying and why, all his answers are spoken from love because he IS love and perfect love casts out all fear; no matter what he says even if it sounds crazy-is a perfect answer! God is the teacher, the world is his classroom, life is full of tests covered by grace.... uhhhhhhhh anyway bowling was great!
